Microscope Maintenance

Microscoptics is an Authorized Nikon Service Facility for biomedical, industrial, and research use microscopes, with particular expertise in optical measuring and imaging instruments. Microscoptics is also an authorized Labomed sales and service facility in biomedical, educational, clinical, industrial, and surgical use microscopes.

Preventative Maintenance Program

Cleaning of instrument exterior.
Inspection of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
Lubrication of mechanical assemblies, as necessary.
Inspection and cleaning of optical components.
Reassembly of all equipment with alignment checks for optimum performance.
Tagging and documentation of each instrument.
PRN Repairs (stage, sub-stage, focus assembly, nosepiece, electrical parts, LED retrofits).
Note: Head prism alignments and objective repairs are non-routine and are not performed in the field.
